Our team had a challenging but fun job designing how to turn two offices into a garage. This commercial office building in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe, NV, was built in 1989 and renovated in 1995. It features two floors, 6500 sq.ft. which are currently being used as office spaces.
This project was initiated by our long-term client Maria and Jon Kirkpatrick of Stayvisit.com from the beautiful Northern Nevada area.
The owner is looking to add more parking space by converting some of the lower level offices into a parking garage. Planning was limited to placing the garage door on the east side of the building, and keeping the two existing mechanical rooms. We played with various options and finally were able to fit five parking spaces comfortably.
Working with Maria and Jon was enjoyable as always.
